The Oliver Twist School is located in the splendid context of the Parco della Spina Verde of Como. The park starts from the Baradello Tower, to the south of the city, and runs alongside the lake towards the north. It is a major green area in the context of the urban landscape and the city\/lake system. The school is situated at the point where the perimeter of the park becomes narrower and acts as a link between the southern area and the northern part of the wooded belt, where the hillside becomes steeper, overlooking the city to the north-west.
\nThe educational and didactic project includes courses of professional instruction and training, experimental programmes and projects for the prevention and recovery of scholastic dispersion, characterized by a strong territorial vocation, a close partnership with the world of labour and an original educational method. The attention paid to the construction, setting up and maintenance of the scholastic environment is part of the educational project.
\nThe school has been designed as a space that is hospitable, warm, cared for in every detail, inducing users to respect for the environment, correct use of energy and energy savings.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
