Designing a school is always an exciting challenge. These are iconic places for the community, recognizable in the urban landscape and open to the territory.
The school is an environment where architectural design combines with pedagogic and educational planning to create an indissoluble symbiosis between space and teaching.

We often have to deal with stringent regulations that limit the way in which we can plan the spaces, and challenging themes such as how to design buildings that are closed, safe, while at the same time open, blending with local traditions yet at the same time open to diversity.

We have designed more than 60 schools, taking into account a wide range of programs and educational requirements: kindergartens, infant schools, elementary schools, primary and secondary schools, professional institutes and university structures.

Designing areas for sport means integrating culture, technology, sustainability, inclusion and economy. They are places of architectural, structural and semantic experimentation, both for their dimensions and for their location, which makes for dialog and debate with the urban texture and the landscape.
Containers of values, emotive dynamics and relationships, they contribute to the enhancement of places and persons. They are not merely spaces in which to perform physical activity, they are environments in which communities are formed.

We deal constantly with the interweaving of needs, feelings and transformations of contemporary habitation: a multiplicity of desires, conducts and habits at the center of a changing society.

We design buildings that integrate the public dimension of sociality with the private dimension of the habitation, studying different modalities where the exterior communicates with the interior via the expressive capacity of the solids and voids, the terraces and the building volumes, the transparency of the materials and the potency of the gradations of color.
Projects that exploit techniques of passive planning, enabling minimal energy consumption and optimizing the micro-climatic wellbeing of the dwellings.

We design residences for young students’ communities in which the architectural composition helps to trigger new processes of socialization and relations between the inhabitants. Buildings in the service of culture and education, attentive towards the environment and innovation. Broader projects of urban regeneration that restore life to entire city areas.

Experimenting and sharing the feelings of our clients, public and private, promotors of housing policies that give life and imagination to social dwelling projects, enables us to take part in new experiences and to design spaces that are aligned with the pathway defined by an initiative conceived for people’s wellbeing.

Our experience includes collective housing with light and flexible forms of sharing, projects for building communities that, in compliance with new housing needs, achieve reduced costs and advantages in access to the property, energy savings and a reduction in pollutant emissions, together with new forms of sociality.
